LANDIS, NC – Team Reaume is proud to announce that Jackson Macenko will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP), marking a significant milestone in his development as he continues progressing through the ranks of professional motorsports.
Macenko, a Cincinnati, Ohio native and University of Cincinnati graduate from the Lindner College of Business, has built his racing career from the ground up. Advancing through grassroots open-wheel competition before moving into some of the most competitive short track disciplines in the country while balancing his education and racing program.
Macenko’s journey began at just eight years old in dirt go-karts at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway, where he quickly established himself as a standout in local competition. At age 14, he advanced into the USSA Kenyon Midget Series, earning Rookie of the Year honors in 2019 while collecting seven feature victories during his time in the division.
From there, Macenko continued his progression through multiple forms of open-wheel racing, including the 500 Sprint Car Tour where he earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2023 and USAC competition with Brad Hayes Racing in the Silver Crown Series. Across each level, he has developed a reputation for a calculated yet aggressive driving style and a consistent ability to compete near the front of the field.
His path to NASCAR has been shaped not only by results on track, but by his approach of it. Beginning at age 12, Macenko took an active role in securing sponsorships to fund his racing career, ultimately building annual budgets exceeding six figures through independently developed partnerships while continuing to pursue his long-term goal of reaching NASCAR’s national series.
“I’m incredibly grateful to Team Reaume for the opportunity to make my NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut,” said Macenko. “This is something I’ve worked toward for a long time. IRP is a special place for me, and to make my debut there means a lot. I’m focused on learning as much as I can and making the most of this opportunity.”
“We’re excited to have Jackson make his Truck Series debut with us at IRP,” said Team Reaume owner Josh Reaume. “It’s a strong opportunity for him, and we’re looking forward to working with him and seeing how he develops at this level.”
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series returns to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on July 24, with live coverage on FS1 at 8PM.
